AI is my gym bro.
For those who don’t worship at the Iron Temple, the “gym bro” is a “partner” you lift weights with. A good gym bro keeps your workout on pace.
My AI gym bro relationship happened by accident. I was admiring the work of Joe Burns and on a whim, opened the ChatGPT app at the gym to reskin my last post.
Complex, multi-prompt tasks in AI require mental focus, attention and time.
That’s right. The back and forth of ask, wait 30 seconds, ask again…is actually highly inefficient.
Multi-tasking is still a myth. AI doesn’t actually generate efficiencies unless you can do something else while it works for you.
Sam Browne 🦖 recently posted about using Midjourney to increase his “Content Tempo.”
For me, mental productivity has always been about rhythm and focus. There’s a reason many of us listen to music while we work.
If using AI requires mental focus, then the unlock is pairing it with the right physical activity. I already listened to NotebookLLM podcast summaries in the shower. Now, I generate prompts in between sets at the gym.
Turn your Iron Temple into a House of Gains. (Productivity gains)
Happy Day of the Dead.
